Inline 309 – Indoor Hockey

BRDD Charity Bout

Saturday, September 17 at 5 PM

About the game:
As a spectator, you will be able to direct the game! What that means is, we will be walking around with “menus”. Off this menu, you will be able to choose something for someone to do for a small cost. For example….if you want the jammers to skate backwards the entire jam, you can do it. Or, if feel like the white team has too many points, you can pay to take some away! Want a ref to jam? No problem!! There will be lots of fun ways to get involved!!

There will be no pre-sale tickets for this event. Ticket cost is donation only. Please remember why we are doing this and donate what you can.

“Shannon, or Half Pint as she is known on the track, has encountered and overcome quite a few unfortunate events. She has been with BRDD for 2 years as a skater, a medic, and most importantly, our sister. She is always the first person willing to help out, often pushing her own needs to the side. She works endless hours as a police officer and hospice nurse but that has never stood in the way of her dedication to the Buxmont Roller Derby Dolls. Through the difficulties her family has been facing, she shows up with a smile on her face asking what we she can do for us. Now, it’s our turn as a league to give back. We hope that you can join us on September 17th for a charity bout where all funds raised will be given to her family. Buxmont is a place where people come to get away from their everyday troubles and skate it out. We lift each other up when we’re down and that’s exactly the goal of this bout. We want to be able to give back a fraction of what Half Pint has given to us over the years and have the skating community come together to lift up one of our own!!”
